Rock Lizards are native to the dry, rocky regions of Southern Africa. These
lizards are great climbers and live among the crevices of huge rock walls.
Maximum size: 6.4”-10”
Lighting: Full spectrum fluorescent UV bulbs will bring out
the natural coloring of these lizards.
Temperature range: Day 86°F Night 64°-68°F
Food: Crickets and mealworms coated in calcium and vitamin powder.
Water: Mist occasionally, and
provide a shallow dish of water.
Housing/Habitat: An aquarium equipped with
an under tank heating pad at one end and lizard litter substrate. Landscape to simulate the vertical plane of
a rocky wall with plenty of hiding places.
Food and water containers should be located at the base of the wall.
