Goldfish Helpful Information

Male Bettas must be housed separately from other Bettas. Females Bettas can only be placed with male Bettas at the time of breeding under special conditions.
Goldfish may be housed with other goldfish, but do not overcrowd the bowl.
Add the fish by floating them in a bag in the bowl for 10-15 minutes for the water temperature to adjust. Net the fish out of the bag into the bowl.
We recommend 1" of fish per gallon of water.
Decaying food and fish waste can cause ammonia in the water which is harmful to the fish.
We recommend not putting shells or coral in a goldfish bowl. Shells and coral raise the pH too high and are harmful to the health of freshwater fish.
